fees and insurance
Insurance BillingWe are currently in network with Aetna PPO, BCBS PPO, Blue Choice, Cigna, and United Healthcare/UHC plans
We do not currently accept any HMO plans and are out of network with all other plans, including Medicare and Medicaid*, however, we are happy to provide superbills to clients with out of network reimbursement benefits.
If you are using insurance, we are happy to check your coverage prior to your first session, feel free to reach out to billing@cedarmoon.org with your insurance info and any questions.
Please note that session fees, co-pays, deductibles, and any other out of pocket fees are due at the time of your session unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We understand that finances are very often a clinical issue and do all that we can to reduce those barriers so if you are experiencing hardship, please let us know as soon as you’re able.
*we have cancelled our Medicaid and Medicare contracts due to concerns with administrative overreach for some of our most vulnerable clients and are uncertain if/when we will re-enroll. In the interim we do offer sliding scale rates and have a limited number of pro-bono sessions available for those who need them.

Body Work
Somatic body work, integrative massage, and neuro-affective touch session fees are billed by the hour unless otherwise specified when scheduling.
Insurance may be used for body work clients also seeking therapy services. Please contact us for intake and scheduling.

Family and parenting sessions with 3 or more participants: $225
We believe strongly in a holistic model of care which includes collaboration and consultation with other members of our clients care teams including psychiatric prescribers, primary physicians, teachers, IEP teams, etc whenever possible. Please note that we may also need to bill for these aspects of care when possible.
Case Management
Case management services are billed to insurance whenever possible. For self-pay clients, we bill in 15 minute increments to equitably account for short bursts of communication and documentation unique to these tasks.
$150 per hourGender Affirming Care Letters
To reduce barriers, clearance letters for gender affirming care are always provided free of charge for uninsured and under-insured folks. Those able to utilize insurance or those who can pay a full or sliding scale fee are encouraged to do so in order to increase access for those who can not.

$750-$1500 Cancellation PolicyWhen you make an appointment, that time slot is reserved just for you.
We understand that illnesses and emergencies happen and will work with you whenever possible, however, we kindly request that clients cancel a minimum of 24 hours prior their scheduled session time as this allows us the opportunity to offer that available time to someone else.
We do directly bill clients for late cancellation and no show fees when these policies are not followed so that our clinicians can be compensated for their time. Cancellation and no-show fees can not be billed to your insurance or covered by co-pays.
